Meet Laura
As the sole owner & operator of Ancestral Heartbeat Tours, Laura is a member of the Lake Babine Band who carries a deep commitment to sharing Indigenous ways of knowing and being. Guided by the teachings of her ancestors, she weaves culture, land, and lived experience into every tour, creating space for meaningful connection and understanding.
Laura walks gently on the land each day, drawing strength and inspiration from the forests, waters, and mountains of these stunning territories alongside those she loves. Her work is rooted in gratitude, family, and community, and she strives to honor those who came before her by living in relationship with the natural world. With a calm presence and open heart, she invites guests to slow down, listen deeply, and experience the quiet beauty and profound sense of peace that these lands continue to offer.
